New
management for this old and fascinating lottery counter (number
112) in Rome near San Giovanni's basilica turned into a graceful
and discreet restaurant, starting from the interior decoration
that traces the rustic style, that creates a warm and comfortable
surroundings, from the wood's ceiling to the terracotta floor,
from the paintings to the Alinari's presses, from the old but
typical lottery counter's insigna ending with the madonnina on
oil in that little archlet but very suggestive.
The restaurant is managed by the owner Fabio Bugo who maintained
the flavors and mostly the quality that is typical of the partenopean
cook, cares and chooses himself the daily purchases of the season's
raw materials.
Once in, you'll find a warm and refined surrounding, the perfect
place to have lunch or dinner in calm.
Any plate is inserted casually, but came out by the knowledge
of the season's product and from the devotion to the Mediterranean
cook. In addition to this you'll find the quality philosophy of
raw materials, the love put in the recipes and with suitable prices
the result is optimal.
Some of the plates resulted irreplaceable during the years, like
squids and artichokes, eggplants' roulades with provola, anchovies
made in oven , potato dumplings chickpea and mussels, scialatielli
with pesto pecorino and clams, and many others, the result is
excellent, the presentation of the plate is an invitation to admiration,
the perfume is an incentive to taste it and feel gratified, all
accompanied with the right wine proposed by a various wines' paper.
The particular care of the image, a careful quality exam, our
in time and efficient service will make your stay at Al Vecchio
Lotto extremely pleasant and you'll appreciate it!
